FlowBand ("the App") is developed and maintained by HSE Studio ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and what choices you have, when you use FlowBand on your Android device.
In short: FlowBand does not collect, transmit, or sell any personally identifiable information. All of your preferences and personalization settings are stored locally on your device only, and are never sent to HSE Studio's servers because HSE Studio does not operate any backend server that stores your data.
We do not collect, transmit, sell, or store:
FlowBand does not use any analytics SDK (such as Firebase Analytics or Google Analytics), and does not display third-party advertisements. There is no advertising SDK integrated into the App.
FlowBand displays a scrolling ticker overlay on your screen showing news, weather, prayer times, sports, and financial market information. To provide this functionality, the App makes outbound network requests directly from your device to the following public data sources:

These requests are made directly from your device to the respective services described above. HSE Studio does not act as an intermediary, and does not receive, log, or have access to any of this network traffic.
FlowBand stores your preferences (such as manually entered city, selected news sources, display and style settings, ticker layout, and any personal notes you add within the App) locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences and/or local app storage. This data:
FlowBand requests the following Android permissions. None of them are used to collect or transmit personal data to HSE Studio or any third party.

You can revoke this permission at any time from Android Settings → Apps → Special access → Usage access; the App will continue to function with reduced positioning accuracy if you do so. |

If a future version of the App requests an additional permission, this Privacy Policy will be updated before that version is released, and the update will be reflected in the "Last updated" date below.
The App connects to the following third-party services solely to retrieve publicly available data. HSE Studio does not share any of your personal data with these services, because HSE Studio does not collect any personal data in the first place. Each service operates under its own independent privacy policy:
HSE Studio is not responsible for, and does not control, the privacy practices of these independent third-party services. We encourage you to review their policies directly.
Because FlowBand does not collect or transmit personal data to any server operated by HSE Studio, there is no HSE Studio-controlled database of user data that could be exposed in the event of a breach. All data handled by the App resides locally on your own device, protected by Android's standard app sandboxing and your device's own security settings (screen lock, encryption, etc.).
Since no personal data is collected or stored by HSE Studio, there is no server-side data for us to retain or delete on your behalf. All locally stored preferences can be erased at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing its storage from Android Settings.
FlowBand is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect any information from children, and since the App does not collect personal data from any user regardless of age, no child-specific data is processed.
Because FlowBand does not collect, store, or process any personal data on our servers, there is no personal data for HSE Studio to provide, correct, export, or delete upon request under regulations such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK). FlowBand can be used worldwide. Since the App does not transmit personal data to HSE Studio's servers, no cross-border transfer of personal data by HSE Studio occurs. Any data exchanged with the third-party services listed above is subject to those services' own data handling and international transfer practices.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect new App features or changes in applicable law. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
